About

What can I say? I’m a geek. There comes a point in your life where you give up false pretenses and you just own it.

Among my friends, no one really knows what I do for a living. When I try to articulate what I do I end up going into my daily work-mode speak – essentially a collection of acronyms and in-the-know buzzwords that barely resemble sentences.

Well, this blog is an attempt to overcome some of the jargon when it comes to what I like doing – Enterprise Performance Management, otherwise known as EPM. In particular, it will focus on the Hyperion EPM product I’m most passionate about: Financial Data Quality Management (FDM).  FDM is the de facto data transformation tool for Oracle Hyperion applications.
